HISTORY Delivered new to Silver Star Motor Services who ran services between Salisbury and the surrounding army camps.  After Silver Star sold out to Wilts & Dorset in 1963, the vehicle was sold on to Bristol Omnibus, then in turn to Upminster Coaches and Berresfords of Cheddleton.  It was abandoned for some ten years before being purchased by Jack Parsons who carried out the restoration.  In 2001 it was bought by ten members of the Freinds of King Alfreds Busses, who have put it back in service after major engine repairs.
