HISTORY Vehicle entered service new in 1951 with Western National Omnibus Company Limited in Royal Blue livery for express services. Withdrawn by Western National in 1964, it saw service with a couple of private operators before being sold for scrap.  It was saved for preservation by the West of England Transport Collection in 1968, and was acquired by the present owner, Colin Billington in 1972.  It was fully restored in time for the Royal Blue 125th anniversary celebrations in 2005.
