HISTORY | Delivered new to Silver Star Motor
Services who ran services between Salisbury and the surrounding army
camps. After Silver Star sold out to Wilts & Dorset in 1963, the
vehicle was sold on to Bristol Omnibus, then in turn to Upminster Coaches
and Berresfords of Cheddleton. It was abandoned for some ten years
before being purchased by Jack Parsons who carried out the
restoration. In 2001 it was bought by ten members of the Freinds of
King Alfreds Busses, who have put it back in service after major engine
repairs.
