HISTORY | The
Bristol MW is a mid-engined single-deck bus or coach chassis
of 30' length. Introduced
in 1957, it was delivered new only to members of the Transport Holding
Company Ltd (Tilling Motor Services Group, Red & White Group,
etc). The body by Eastern Coach Works was comfortable, solid
and robust, and was derived from an earlier body built on the Bristol LS
chassis. This vehicle was delivered new to Eastern National in 1958,
and was withdrawn from service in 1970. It went into preservation
ownership in the 1980s, and was acquired by the present ownership in 2004. Information from: http://classicbristolbuses.thornet.co.uk/mw.htm AND http://www.bristolsu.co.uk/mw/operatordetails/easternnational/7017hk.htm |
