HISTORY |
RT 3491 entered service from Nunhead garage in 1952. The vehicle saw service from several different garages until sold for preservation in 1973. Although the bus spent its working life in the LT Central area, painted red, It was painted in LT Country area green by the new owner in 1973. The vehicle was busy at various bus rallies and festivals until 2008 when Green Line coach livery was applied. The bus remained active at rallies and was in use during Green Line 80 Day in July 2010. Still attending rallies, she was present at the London Bus Museum's 2012 Spring Bus Gathering. |
